well of course the camera being off center will make your pointer stray to one side or the other the only real con is that its hard to fine-tune your cameras angle while playing a game that doesnt show u a mirrored picture ot check for centered-ness (not exclusive to this game though) and other than that if u dont have a steady hand u wont experience many targeting issues unless u use a fully auto weapon like the assaults rifles or assault scramblers.. i'm hoping that the ps4's eye (with better depth perseption utilizing 2 cameras instead of 1) will be backwards compatable with ps3.. i'm going to go to the store and see if i can buy one if it is and test that out..
sniping is really a drag with the move though because u have to stay so steady for so long sometimes.. although i've been able to keep my aim perfectly still for a minute or two at a time it gets super tedious if you havn't gotten use to it well enough to train ur hand to stay steady |

have you tried reducing your sensitivity? when they made the sensitivity tweaks with 1.4 (right? i might be mistaken) i think that effected the move's sensitivity as well.. |

jeeze, maybe i'm so used to the "shake" i just compensate subconsciously.. well i play generally play with the highest sensativity because when camping corners its easy to miss ur target when they jump by in a minmatar suit or whatever..
actually use the sharpshooter more than the move alone because i tend to rest my hand on something which throws off the angle of the sensor.. so i use sharpshooter config lthough i find the move config without the sharpshooter attachment are the most comfortable in which case i use the standard move config
dead zones.. i keep 100% vertical and usually less than 30% no more than 50% for horizontal deadzone.. need to be able to turn quickly.. if you use a small enough horizontal deadzone i'd suppose that itd be alot easier to use the move on a lower sensativity as you could still turn just as quickly and without dragging the pointer quiete as far (compensating for the slow speed which u aim)
i find it extremely annoying if the vertical is smaller than 70-80% because i'm constantly aiming at my feet or up in the air when i sprint, melee, or reload (as the sharpshooter config only allows u to reload using the "reload" button found on the bottom of the clip which deffinately displaces my pointer |

My settings are. - Infantry set to PSMove/sharpshooter (if i use the sharpshooter) - Crosshair to 100 (always) - Vertical Deadzone 60-100 (60 for move 100 for sharpshooter) - Horizontal Deadzone 20-50 (20 for move 40 for sharpshooter) - Turn Speed to 100 (always) |

i'd like to update to you guys that might not know that the ps4 is apparently not backwards compatible, I'm assuming this is not likely to change as it would probably hurt ps4 sales and call me pessimistic but every ps3 move game is using software for the old technology that must be significantly different than the ps4's camera. not sure if eye functionality has a huge intricacy in game itself or rather the system firmware perhaps?? then might be able to be done in future firmware update by sony and would require minimal patching?
anybody have a clue about that?
i have no idea how hard it is to program the ps3's eye and move but i saw they have that computer program on the playstation store.
anybody ever mess around with that |
